Vi. Sannikov et al., THE DEUTERIUM ATTACK OF TITANIUM ELECTRODES UNDER ELECTRIC-DISCHARGE CONDITIONS, Werkstoffe und Korrosion, 48(10), 1997, pp. 700-704
Electrochemical and electrophysical investigations methods of TiD2, Li
D(v)-LiD(m)-Me systems with subsequent structure and metallographic te
sting of the titanium electrodes were carried out. Electrophysical pro
perties of a system depend upon metallic (liquid) cathode emission pro
perties. TiD2 content was shown to be higher in Ti anodes with signifi
cant surface changes (non-deep cracks creation) after testing and Ti-c
athodes show deep cracks. The maximal hardened material was observed a
t the crack creation zone.
