Abstract
Non-isothermal and non-Newtonian simulations of flow in a combined Kne ader and crosshead screw extruder system which yields pressure profile s, fill factor profiles and temperature profiles through both machines are described. The results are compared with experimental studies on a commercial Kneader manufactured by Buss AG.
