A. Knorr et al., THEORY OF OPTICALLY NONLINEAR EFFECTS IN ULTRAFAST SPATIOTEMPORAL DYNAMICS OF SEMICONDUCTORS, Acta Physica Polonica. A, 92(4), 1997, pp. 641-651
Ultrafast spatio-temporal effects in optically excited semiconductors
are investigated by solving the coupled semiconductor Maxwell-Bloch eq
uations which include tile relevant relaxation phenomena. The analysis
is used to describe transport of electronic excitations on nano-to mi
crometer scales with a dynamic range on the femto- to picosecond time
scale.
