Abstract
Free exciton magnetoreflectance and magnetization of Cd1-xCrxS (0.0024 < x < 0.0031) were measured at T = 2.0 K and magnetic field up to 5 T . Combining tile heavy]role exciton splitting with the magnetization d ata the exchange integral N-0 beta = +0.46+/-0.04 eV was evaluated wit hin the framework of mean field approximation.
