Abstract
We report a case of Yersinia enterocolitica 0:9 septicaemia complicati ng systemic lupus erythematosus in an elderly male patient. The infect ion gave rise to digital vasculitis, fevers and general malaise on top of pre-existing articular symptoms. Features of Yersinia septicaemia may mimic some of the signs of lupus.
