Lca. Groot et al., NA-23 RELAXATION IN ISOTROPIC AND ANISOTROPIC LIQUID-CRYSTALLINE DNA SOLUTIONS, Journal of physical chemistry, 98(10), 1994, pp. 2699-2705
The Na-23 relaxation in isotropic and anisotropic aqueous, salt-free D
NA fragment (500 Angstrom) solutions is investigated. The temperature
dependence of the coupling constants and correlation times are reporte
d. Premelting effects occur in the isotropic phase, whereas this is no
t observed in the anisotropic solution. Slow dynamic processes in the
frequency range 200-9000 Hz are absent in both phases.
