Abstract
a,gamma-Difluoromethyleneadenosine-5'-triphosphate (AMP-PCF2P, 3) and rsono-beta,gamma-methyleneadenosine-5'-diphosphate (AMP PCAs, 4) were synthesized and were found to be competitive inhibitors of glycerol ki nase. Commercially available AMP-PCP and AMP-PNP also are competitive inhibitors. The structural similarities and differences of these ATP a nalogs and their effect on kinase inhibition are discussed.
