Abstract
We consider possible mechanisms for single spin asymmetries in inclusi ve deep inelastic scattering processes with unpolarized leptons and tr ansversely polarized nucleons. Tests for the effects of nonzero intrin sic k(perpendicular to), for the properties of spin-dependent quark fr agmentations and for quark helicity conservation are suggested.
