Abstract
The Interaction of Bromocresol Green (blue) with 3-quinuclidinol and 3 -quinuclidinyl esters of substituted hydroxyacetic acids in organic so lvent was studied. It was shown that, under these conditions, esters p roduce yellowish orange complexes of composition I : 1, regardless of the ratio between the concentrations of reagents, whereas 3-quinuclidi nol can form complexes of composition I : 1 and 2 : 1, and the latter is blue. A procedure for the spectrophotometric determination of 3-qui nuclidinol in 3-quinuclidinyl esters of some substituted hydroxyacetic acids was developed.
