S. Trabelsi et al., MICROWAVE DIELECTRIC-PROPERTIES OF SHELLED, YELLOW-DENT FIELD CORN, The Journal of microwave power and electromagnetic energy, 32(3), 1997, pp. 188-194
Dielectric properties of three hybrids of shelled, yellow-dent field c
orn were measured at different bulk densities and moisture contents in
a Styrofoam container located between two ho rn antennas in free spac
e. Relative complex permittivities were determined from measurements o
f attenuation and phase shift at frequencies from 11 to 18 GHz and at
temperatures from 4 to 45 degrees C. The grain moisture content ranged
from about 9% to 19%, wet basis.
