Abstract
A porous system in which a fuel on the surface of pores reacts with a gaseous oxidizer is considered. A simplified model for wave processes in such a medium is developed. A is shown that because of strong frict ion, detonation waves propagate in a regime that is different from the Chapman-Jouguet regime. The conclusions are supported by model simula tions and physical estimates.
