Abstract
A Single specimen of Hazelia palmata Walcott, 1920, was collected from the Middle Cambrian Marjum Formation near Marjum Pass, in the central House Range, western Utah. This is a first occurrence of the species outside the Burgess shale region of British Columbia, Canada. The flat tened oval impression of the monaxonid demosponge shows characteristic tufts and spicule structures of the species.
