Abstract
A major limitation of unrelated bone marrow transplantation is the dur ation of time that is safe between harvest and re-infusion of the marr ow, We have been able to demonstrate safe re-infusion of bone marrow k ept at room temperature during transport, after almost 36 h. In vitro colony-forming assays suggest that stability may be as long as 5 days.
