Abstract
From the aerial parts of Consolida raveyi (Boiss) Schrod., a new nordi terpenoid alkaloid designated as raveyine has been isolated along with the known alkaloids ajaconine, azitine, chellespontine and isoatisine . The structure of raveyine (4) was determined on the basis of homonuc lear H-1 decoupled C-13, DEPT, 2D H-1 phase sensitive COSY, TOCSY, ROE SY, H-1-C-13 HMQC, HMQC-clean TOCSY and HMBC NMR spectral studies.
