Abstract
Samples of 1:1 styrene-maleic anhydride copolymers are prepared, and k inetics of aminolysis of maleic anhydride units in this copolymer with dyes containing p-aminobenzene derivatives is studied. The effect of substituents on the reaction center and the correlation between the ra te constant of this reaction and the sigma constants of substituents a re studied.
