Abstract
A neutron interferometric test of interaction-free detection of the pr esence of an absorbing object in one arm of a neutron interferometer h as been performed. Despite deviations from the ideal performance chara cteristics of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer it could be shown that inf ormation is obtained without interaction. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B. V.
