The non-linear kinetic equation describing the evolution of the orient
ational structural of nematic liquid crystals is investigated. The equ
ilibrium structures are described and their stability and the behaviou
r of the solutions for long times are investigated. The super-slow evo
lution (for example, in a very intense magnetic field) of the irregula
