In this paper experimental tests were carried out to evaluate the reco
veries of particular pesticides in some critical steps of many analyti
cal methods. Nine organophosphates pesticides were investigated: Trich
lorophon, Metasystox-R, Dichlorvos, Methamidophos, Acephate, Omethoate
, Dicrotophos, Monocrotophos and Demeton-S-methylsulphon. The critical
steps examined were: vacuum rotary evaporation, purification by GPC,
extraction by organic solvent and stability or degradability in acid a
mbient.
