Abstract
Frechet differential corresponding to the inverse scattering of conduc tor cylinder is studied by adjoint operator theory. Numerical implemen tation of Newton-Kantorovich algorithm under successive plane wave ill umination of different directions and frequencies is presented. Determ ination of initial values for iteration is introduced. Three kinds of bases for profile description of conductor cylinder are presented. Num erical results for each base are presented and compared with each othe r; thus, features of each base are revealed.
