Abstract
We present experimental results on mixed-polarization solitary waves i n AlGaAs waveguides. We show experimentally the complicated polarizati on dynamics of solitonlike beams that is related to the existence of l inearly and elliptically polarized mixed-polarization spatial solitons in planar waveguides.
