Western European and Native American approaches to spirituality, natur e, and science have implications for policy decisions now and into the Twenty First century. This essay explicates traditional American Indi an and Western European philosophic and spiritual views of nature in o rder to promote dialogue and inform choices that are crucial regarding the future of the biosphere.
