Abstract
During the attempt to synthesize zeolite A (LTA) with F- anions, a new sodalite material containing these anions was obtained. Fluoride anio ns play the role of mineralizer and template. According to the F-19 MA S n.m.r. results, the localization of the F- anions in the sodalite ca vities is proposed. This new compound completes the series of halo- an d hydroxysodalites.
