Abstract
In the present review some selected results on liquid-liquid immiscibi lity, salt solubility, critical and tricritical phenomena in hydrother mal systems are presented. The data on phase behavior of water-salt mi xtures have been obtained in a frame of approach to systematic investi gation of phase equilibria over a wide range of parameters discussed e arlier in this Journal (Pure & Appl. Chem. 67, 567 (1995).
