Abstract
The influence of processes occurring before the system relaxes into di ffusion, on the evolution of a radiating sphere, is exhibited in a spe cific example. The luminosity profiles, and consequently the general e volution of the object, are shown to be quite sensitive to the value o f relaxation time.
