Abstract
A one-dimensional model of a Kondo impurity with arbitrary spin in the presence of electronic correlations is solved exactly. The Bethe ansa tz equations are obtained for the case of quadratic dispersion. The gr ound state is studied in the thermodynamic limit, and the magnetic sus ceptibility at zero temperature is calculated. [S0163-1829(97)52342-3] .
