Em. Baskin et al., EFFECTIVE PROPERTIES FOR SYSTEMS WITH DISTRIBUTED RESISTANCES IN CONTINUOUS SPACE, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 56(18), 1997, pp. 11611-11618
A system with exponentially distributed resistances is examined here.
The importance of field and current distribution inside each resistanc
e is shown to be a necessary sign of the so-called continual problem.
Consideration of this current distribution leads to a further increase
of the relative spectral density of 1/f noise and the appearance of a
nother critical exponent in comparison with a discrete problem. The cr
itical exponent connected with the inhomogeneity of current distributi
on inside each resistance has been evaluated. [S0163-1829(97)07041-0].
