Abstract
The crystal structure of [Mn(L)(OH2)](2)(Me(2)SO)(2) [L = the dianion of 5-nitrosalicylidene)-1,2-diamino-(2-methyl)ethane] shows it to be a strongly hydrogen-bonded dimer of manganese(II), produced by recrysta llisation of a manganese(III) Schiff base acetate complex from dimethy l sulfoxide.
