Hk. Chiu et al., NEAR-FIELD SHIELDING AND REFLECTION CHARACTERISTICS OF ANISOTROPIC LAMINATED PLANAR COMPOSITES, IEEE transactions on electromagnetic compatibility, 39(4), 1997, pp. 332-339
A theoretical model is proposed to study the nearfield shielding and r
eflection characteristics of anisotropic laminated planar composites,
Specifically, the plane-wave spectral representation is used to expres
s the dipole held and the wave-transmission matrix technique is employ
ed to deal with the transmitted and reflected fields. In this study, n
umerical results for graphite/epoxy (G/E) and boron/epoxy (B/E) compos
ites are presented to discuss, in detail, the effects of varying the o
bservation distance, number of layers, lamina thickness, fiber conduct
ivity, and fiber orientation pattern, Comparison nit-h the measured re
sults and the previous published ones are also included to confirm the
accuracy of this proposed model.
