Abstract
A liquid membrane containing N-503, N,N-di(1-methylheptyl) acetamide, as a mobile carrier, is proposed for the high efficient removal of phe nol from waste water. Effects of different factors on phenol removal a re investigated. Under the optimum operation condition obtained very s atisfactory results have been achieved for the treatment of four kinds of high concentration industrial phenolic waste water.
