Abstract
We obtain the internal electric field of an illuminated Liquid droplet using geometrical optics. The approximation includes the phase effect s of various components. We compare the geometrical-optics solution wi th the Mie theory solution for a nonabsorbing particle with a size par ameter of alpha = 500 and an index of refraction of n = 1.332.
