Abstract
The conformational properties in solution of the prototype compound TS AO-T (1) and its two analogues 2 and 3 have been determined by H-1 and C-13 NMR techniques. The three compounds showed a sugar ring conforma tion rare among HIV-inhibitory nucleosides, probably due to the presen ce, at the 3'-position of the spiro moiety.
