Abstract
The stereoselective synthesis of 3'-C-Allyluridine derivative 2 has be en accomplished. This nucleoside was used as a key synthon for the syn thesis of oligodeoxynucleotides containing 3'-C-(3-benzoyloxypropyl)th ymidine (X) or bicycle nucleoside (Y+Z) monomers. Preliminary thermal experiments are reported.
