Prophylactic therapy with 5'-dCACGTTGAGGGGCAT phosphorothioate, (2.5 n
mol/hr) strongly inhibited tumorigenesis in E mu-myc transgenic mice,
and ablated spleen cell MYC antigen. However, the anti-c-myc DNA also
stimulated proliferation of spleen cells in vitro, though much less so
than a positive CG motif control 5'-dGCATGACGTTGAGCT.
