Abstract
Some tutedpheny1-3-(3-alkyl/aryl-5,6-dihydro-s-triazolo [3 4-b][1,3,4] thiadiazol-6-yl) indoles 3 have been synthesised by the condensation o f 2-arylindole-3-aldehydes 1 with 3-substituted-4-amino-5-mercapto-1,2 ,4-triazoles 2 in DMF containing p-TsOH as catalyst. Their structures have been established on the basis of analytical and spectral data. Th e indoles 3 have been assessed for antiinflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal activities.
