Abstract
We report on a three month old infant presenting with vaginal bleeding . Precocious pseudopuberty due to an autonomous ovarian cyst was diagn osed. Within three months the follicular cyst spontaneously regressed. Elevated estradiol levels also decreased spontaneously. Discussion: T he management of ovarian cysts in neonates and infants is still contro versial. In our opinion there is no need for immediate invasive manage ment, such as punction of the cyst or surgical treatment.
