Abstract
An amperometric flow cell was developed for continuous monitoring of l actate in the subcutaneous microdialysate from a rat. The lactate meas uring flow cell is based on a platinum-Ag/AgCl electrode covered with a lactate oxidase containing sandwich membrane. The functional stabili ty of the lactate probe was more than one-week and the results from th e enzyme sensor measurement was confirmed by off-line measurements wit h Liquid chromatography.
