Abstract
The diffusion coefficients df Sr-90 and Cs-137 have been calculated fr om experimental data For different local rocks. The dependence of the diffusion coefficient in some rocks on the pH of the fluid under stati onary or circulating conditions for the radioisotope solution has been calculated. Our results show that cement is the best material for rad ioisotope retention. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
