Abstract
The spectrum of neurologic birth trauma has been expanded over the pas t decade by increasingly sophisticated diagnostic techniques. In assoc iation with this expansion, perinatal care has improved the prognosis for many of these injuries. This article describes the structural basi s, diagnosis, and recent changes in management for perinatal neurologi c injuries.
