Abstract
The complete H-1 and C-13 assignment of two closely related isomeric t riterpenoid derivatives (methyl 2 alpha,3 beta-di-O-acetylolean-12-en- 28-oate and methyl 2 alpha,3 alpha-di-O-acetylurs-12-en-28-oate) is de scribed, In addition to 1D NMR methods, 2D shift-correlated NMR techni ques (COSY, NOESY, HMBC and HMQC) were used for the assignment.
