Abstract
The mechanoelectret, field and corona-electret properties of micas and mica papers are described. They include the electret potentials, the density of electrical charges, the times of relaxation and the energy of charge localization. The electret production mechanism is described . The radiation sensitivity maximum for corona-electret TSD curves is identified. Practical recommendations are given. (C) 1997 Elsevier Sci ence Ltd. All rights reserved.
