Abstract
TiO2-SiO2-MgO catalyst was prepared and the OH radicals formed on the catalyst contacted with water were studied by the spin-trapping method , The condition of the catalyst surface that can produce OH radicals i s optimized. The initial concentration of OH radicals on the surface d oes not influence the rate of the photocatalytic decomposition of hydr o en peroxide. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
