Abstract
A five-month-old with fever and enlargement of the lymph nodes, liver, and spleen had positive serological tests for infectious mononucleosi s. He developed respiratory distress syndrome, hematological disorders , and Pseudomonas septicemia. The long-term outcome was favorable.
