Abstract
The KTeV Project includes two new fixed-target kaon experiments at Fer milab, E-832 and E-799 Phase II, which will use almost the same appara tus. E-832 will perform a new measurement of epsilon'/epsilon, with a goal of 10(-4) accuracy, while E-799 Phase II will search for rare K-L decays of the form K-L --> pi(0)l (l) over bar, which have important direct-CP-violating contributions in the Standard Model. The KTeV appa ratus is described, and the status of the project is presented. Some i nitial indications of data quality are given.
