Abstract
The adsorptive properties of Cephalexin (Cef), Cefaclor (Cfx), and 7-a minodesacetoxycephalosporanic acid (7-ADCA) were examined by applying phase sensitive ac polarography with DME in order to compare the behav ior of their molecules at a mercury electrode. To find optimal conditi ons for the distinct adsorption effects and to determine the ionic spe cies participating in adsorption, the influence of pH and concentratio n (concerning electrical double layer characteristics at the mercury/s olution interface) was studied.
