Abstract
The main laws of the thermodynamics and kinetics for the ion exchange processes in the inorganic materials were examined. The literature dat a for the ion exchange properties for the oxide systems, particle hydr ates and the wide row of the polyvalent cation salts were collected an d discussed. The methods of caring out the ion exchange processes and their specifics were considered.
