Abstract
Experimental data on alpha-metallocenylalkylation of nucleophilic reag ents are generalised and surveyed systematically. These reactions are widely used for synthesis of different metallocene derivatives which m ay be of practical interest. The advantages and limitations of various techniques of carrying out these reactions under homogeneous and hete rogeneous conditions are discussed; new approaches to their efficient realisation are proposed.
