Abstract
Varix of the iris as a solitary primary lesion is rare. We report a 31 -year-old Indian man with an iris varix who developed recurrent haemor rhages into the anterior chamber which led to secondary glaucoma. An i ridectomy was performed and the diagnosis,vas confirmed histologically . There has been no recurrence of the lesion 3 years after surgery.
