Abstract
A simple relativistic model of heavy-light mesons is applied to the ra re decay BBAR --> KBARgamma in the standard model. We find GAMMA(BBAR --> KBARgamma)/GAMMA(b --> sgamma) = (17 +/- 4)% and B(BBAR --> KBAR gamma) = (4.8 +/- 1.9) x 10(-5)(\V(Cb)\/0.04)2 . These numbers are re duced by only 20% when the relevant form factor is replaced by its val ue in the heavy-quark limit M(b), M(s) --> infinity.
