In this paper the two-dimensional Heisenberg model is considered, with
a possible anisotropy in the Heisenberg interaction in the 1 directio
n. Helical boundary conditions are introduced and an exact mapping of
the two-dimensional lattice to a one-dimensional lattice is given. Thi
s mapping allows for a determination of the form of the wave function
for 1 and 2 reversed spins. For this latter nontrivial case, the quant
ization condition is also derived.
