Abstract
The 3,4-dicyano derivative of hitherto unknown tricycle[4.2.2.2(2,5)]d odeca-1,3,5,7,9,11-hexaene, in which six double bonds are uniquely arr anged, is generated and chemically trapped with 1,2-dimethylenecyclope ntane and tert-butyl-lithium.
